West Coast Thunder Drill Team

Drill Teams have been thrilling rodeo crowds for years and West Coast Thunder is considered one of the more professional teams on the circuit. Most of the members have been riding together for many years and our bond has brought unity and precision to our performances.

We pride ourselves in our versatility as we have performed at not only rodeos, but weddings, horse shows, parades and private functions. We are always looking for new and exciting venues, big or small, to add to our portfolio.

We practice year round, and hold try outs for new members each fall. Horse and rider suitability is carefully considered before a rider is accepted.

A special thanks to our families that “gave up” their ladies to rodeos all season long. Thank you for your patience and your support throughout the year. We hope more of you join us on the road next summer.

Try-outs start November 3rd and run every Thursday throughout the month. We are looking for new riders that love to ride, rodeo and travel. It takes a special kind of commitment and personality to spend your weekends with 20 other women. If you are interested in being part of this dedicated, fun loving, precision riding team, come join us at Thunderbird Show Park at 7:00pm.
